Key Responsibilities

  1. Conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments
  2. Plans, implements, and conducts preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs
  3. Plans, implements, manages, and maintains comprehensive environmental safety & health programs on premises or at project site locations
  4. Provides project management team with guidance on health and safety and confirm project site fulfills industry, local, state, and legal guidelines and regulations
  5. Collaborates with management to develop an Emergency Action Plan and serve as primary contact for project site injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management. Maintains a written log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence
  6. Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures, contract documents, and good engineering practices
  7. Provides technical support to project managers
  8. Coordinates and monitors schedule updates, invoices, and submittals
  9. Reports the status of projects to business and market leaders
  10. Participates in team meetings and provides regular on-site project presence
  11. Keep up to date with changes in current legislation and to bring to the attention of the Senior Manager Attend such courses/seminars run by external sources to enable accurate interpretation of legislation to enable implementation within the organization.


  1. Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering diploma or equivalent
  2. Current certifications in Construction safety or industry standards
  3. Knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Implementation
  4. Knowledge of International Labor Organization – Global Occupational Safety & Health setting.
  5. Familiarity with legislation and other related safety guidelines
  6. Good team player, Self-confident, motivated, and independent Ability to train, influence and motivate team members
  7. Minimum 8 years’ experience in the construction industry, including at least 4 years management level safety professional experience
  8. Knowledge of project controls
  9. Excellent knowledge of administrative policies, legislations and guidelines
  10. Working knowledge of enforcing policies and procedures for occupational health and safety
  11. Working knowledge in risk management system
  12. Working knowledge in environmental compliance
  13. Outstanding organizational skills
  14. Good time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills
  15. Excellent in English (writing, speaking, reading) Computer literacy especially MS Office
  16. Ability to provide administrative policies and procedures
  17. Ability to manage multinational project
  18. Ability to solve conflict management and problem solving
  19. Communication, meeting, and presentation ability
  20. Conceptual planning ability Multi-tasking ability
