We're Hiring: Technical Manager

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

1. Realize site inspection and project specifications & drawings analysis.
2. Issue with the design team preliminary design (in case that the design is not available in tender documents) & equipment selection
3. Issuing the design team, the bill of quantities, labor, material and equipment etc
4. Issuing selling price, commercial conditions, description of proposed installation and     technical specification of equipment offered
5. Providing technical support to the sales team in the negotiation of the contract
6. Revise proposal submitted as per variations requested by the client
7. Liaise with the designs office the detail design including schematic diagram, load calculation, pipe sizing and piping layout, final selection if equipment
8. Approve the design in compliance with specification & client expectation.
9. Preparing construction document to be forwarded to the site including bill of quantity of equipment, construction   drawings and technical specification
10. Issuing master list of imported equipment if applicable
11. Issuing enquiry to supplier for imported equipment and advice Project Manager on equipment to be ordered and selection of supplier
12. Preparation with the design team of quotation for work variation during the   execution of the contract
13. Qualify with MEP design for building
14. Conduct interviews, hire and train new technical support for staff
15. Review all work produced by the development team
16. Delegate technical responsibilities and monitor the progress of projects Ensure code produced meets company standards.

Qualification

1. Education background in Hydraulic or Mechanical engineering.  Preferably have   good knowledge of Hydraulic system, Plumbing system, Firefighting systems, Pump Control systems.
2. Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
3. At least ​ 7 years of relevant experience in supervisory responsibility & site management in engineering sector
4. Computer literacy and especially MS Offices, MS Project, AutoCAD, Projects 2000
5. Negotiation skill
6. Good interpersonal skill Fluent in English
7. Flexible and active in work place
8. Trying and patient at work and be healthy Willing to discover new things.
